A family tree isn't quite complete without a few handmade ornaments. Here are two easy ideas for ornaments you can make with your kids.
Cotton-y Soft Snowman
Your kids will have a ball making this cute little guy. Simply cut out a snowman shape from some construction paper (you also could use poster board). Glue cotton balls to one side. Put a hole in the top of the snowman, and run a piece of yarn through the hole to create a loop for hanging on the tree.
Fancy Flower Fun
Handmade by children doesn't always have to look handmade by children. Gather some dried flowers and create this ornament with a touch of handmade class: Get a glass ornament and pop off the top. Cut up some dried flower sprigs and push them through the top. Replace the ornament top, and loop a ribbon or yarn through the top of the ball.
