KID CUISINE / NICKELODEON UNIVERSE GAME
Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Game begins September 1, 2008, and ends December 31, 2008. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited or restricted by law.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the United States (except Puerto Rico). ConAgra Foods, Inc. (the "Sponsor") and its respective affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising agencies and each of their employees, officers, directors and agents ("Sponsor and its agents") are not eligible to enter or win.
TO ENTER: There are two [2] ways to enter:
- In Pack — Receive a game piece seeded and placed on the liner of participating Kid Cuisine Meals.
- By Mail — To obtain a free game piece without a purchase, mail a self addressed stamped envelope to "Kid Cuisine Nickelodeon Universe Game Free Game Piece", PO Box 1180-GP-, Grand Rapids, MN. 55745-1180. Mail-in entries must include name, address [street address, city, state, zip code], phone number, age of entrant and e-mail address. Limit of one request per person per week; one (1) game piece per request. Residents of the states of Washington and Vermont need not include return postage.
SUBMITTING A WINNING GAME PIECE: Mail the winning game piece along with your name, complete address (including zip code), and telephone [day and night] to: "Kid Cuisine Nickelodeon Universe Game", PO Box 1180-GP, Grand Rapids, MN. 55745-1180. Retain a copy of the winning game piece for your files. It is recommended that submissions be made by a traceable form of delivery, for example, if from the United States by Certified Mail, Return Receipt Requested to be received within the time required. At least seven (7) days should be allowed for delivery of submissions originating in the United States.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF WINNING GAME PIECES: Winning game pieces must be received within fourteen (14) days following the end of the game. If not received within such time, the game piece will be deemed nullified. Sponsor will have no responsibility to return the game pieces submitted. In addition, Sponsor reserves the right to re-offer the item intended to be awarded. Sponsor and its agents are not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, incomplete or damaged submissions or submissions which are not fully prepaid. It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to timely and securely submit the winning game piece. Proof of delivery will not constitute proof of receipt.
VERIFICATION OF WINNING GAME PIECE: All winning game pieces are subject to verification. If it is determined for any reason that a participant or game piece is not eligible to win due to inability to meet one of the requirements above, Sponsor will return the game piece submitted with an explanation as to why the submission was rejected, except those game pieces that are received late or are determined to be void under the following section.
FRAUDULENT/IRREGULAR GAME PIECES: Game pieces that are irregular, stolen, unauthorized, illegible, counterfeited, defective, altered, tampered with in any way, not legitimately received or otherwise fraudulent will not be accepted or returned. Any such game piece submitted shall be void as determined solely by Sponsor or its agents in their sole discretion.
SHIPMENT OF THE PRIZE: Upon verification of the game piece submitted and the participant's eligibility, the prize will be shipped to the address provided with the game piece. Shipment will be effected within approximately 2 to 3 weeks of Sponsor's receipt of the winning game piece.
SHIPPING & HANDLING: Participants are responsible for paying the cost of sending winning game pieces to Sponsor.
PARTICIPANTS UNDER THE AGE OF 18: A participant under the age of 18 will be required to include the full name and signature of his/her parent or legal guardian with the winning game piece as evidence of the parent or legal guardian's approval of the participation in the game and the providing of personal information to Sponsor.
All game pieces must be postmarked not later than 12/31/08. Sponsor and its agents are not responsible for entries that for any reason are lost, late, damaged, misdirected, illegible, incomplete or stolen, for postage due, late or lost mail. Game pieces become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned except as indicated herein.
PRIZES:
GRAND PRIZE (1): A trip for four (4) to Nickelodeon Universe theme park in the Mall of America® in Bloomington, MN for four (4) days and three (3) nights including domestic coach class round trip airline fare, two rooms or equivalent hotel accommodations, and $500 spending cash. Prizes consist of only those items specifically listed as a part of the prize. All other related expenses not specifically covered by the sponsor are the winner's responsibility including, but not limited to transportation between winner's residence and a major airport, room service, parking fees, laundry service, food, beverages, merchandise, souvenirs, telephone calls, tips, gratuities and service charges. Airline carrier and hotel regulations and conditions apply. Travel and lodging are subject to availability, certain restrictions, blackout dates and Sponsor's approval. Travel must be completed between January 1 and December 31, 2009. Approximate retail value: $5,000.
FIRST PRIZE (500): Each winner will receive a Digital Camera. Approximate retail value: $21.99 each.
SECOND PRIZE (1,000): Each winner will receive an Inflatable Chair. Approximate retail value $14.99 each.
THIRD PRIZE (2000): Each winner will receive an Inflatable Frisbee. Approximate retail value $5.99 each.
Total approximate retail value of all prizes: $42,965.00

SECOND CHANCE DRAWING: All non-winning entries that are mailed to the following address will be included in a "Second Chance Drawing" to award any unclaimed prizes. You can also enter the Second Chance Drawing by mailing your complete name, address [street address, city, state, zip code], phone number, age and e-mail address on a 3.5"X 5 post card to "Second Chance Kid Cuisine Nickelodeon Universe Game", PO Box 1239, Grand Rapids, MN. 55745-1239. All mail entries must be contain the words "Second Chance Drawing" and be postmarked not later than January 21, 2009 to be eligible to enter the Second Chance Drawing.
JUDGING/DETERMINATION OF SECOND CHANCE WINNERS: If all of the prizes are not claimed, Sponsor will conduct a second chance drawing to determine the prize winners of the unclaimed prizes. The entries for the Second Chance Drawing will consist of those mail-in entries containing a non-winning game piece and those entries specifically entering the Second Chance Drawing via postcard. Drawing: Winners will be selected in a random drawing held on or about February 10, 2009, from all eligible mail entries received. All winners will be notified by mail and may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility/liability release, which must be received by Sponsor within 14 days of the date on the notification, or the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
All unclaimed prizes will be awarded. No prize substitutions or cash equivalent except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor if an advertised prize becomes unavailable. Prizes are non-transferable. Limit of one prize per person and/or household. All federal, state and local taxes and expenses not specified are the responsibility of the individual winners.
GENERAL: Sponsor and its agents assume no responsibility or liability for damages, losses or injury resulting from acceptance or use of any prize. By entering, entrants agree to: (1.) release the Sponsor and its agents from liability, injuries, loss and/or damage of any kind arising from their participation in the Game or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize; (2.) agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which shall be final and binding in all matters related to this game. This Game is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
